Speed Dating Activity
Directions: For use to promote listening/speaking skills, vocabulary development and comradery in an advanced level class – Begin by frontloading vocabulary – which words don’t students already know? Next pair students together to start. Explain the similarities this activity shares with speed dating. Every time the teacher says “switch” and signals with a call bell, students find a new partner and begin speaking about the various topics above.
