Random conversation topics game
This simple activity is designed to spark discussion on an array of topics in a conversation class. Cut out the word/phrase blocks below and put each group in a different envelope. Have a student select one block from each envelope, and then talk about the topic that results. For example, if he picks “favorite” and “house,” he can describe the residence that he liked living in the most, or the dream house he wishes he could move into. If she chooses “first” and “food,” she can explain the first thing she ate that morning, or the earliest food memory from her childhood. You can add to or change the words in each group as you see fit!
