Do/Does/Did Question Competition
I used this when working with asking do, does and did questions.
Students must ask a classmate the first question. They can only move on to the next question if the answer is yes. Have the answering student initial each question they say yes to.
If they say no, they must find another student and ask them the same question.
I have left 3 blank squares for you to fill in with questions relating to your students and/or backgrounds. I teach middle school in Korea and had included "Did you go to (local elementary school)?" "Does you father take the subway to work?" and "Do you like English class?"
NOTE: You can do this as a class competition, with the first person to finish getting candy/prize, etc. Keep in mind that there is no true way to double-check the winner.
NOTE #2: The classroom can get quite loud and crazy as they search for someone who _______. I monitor the classroom and remind them to use only English.
