at the doctor´s
These cards can be used for learning spelling or as a good warm-up or fast revision. It is a fun activity with children, but you may be surprised with the outcome with adults too.
After printing tape the papers together, place them on the blackboard or tape them to the wall. Make a mark at least four meters away from the poster. Tell students, they are at the doctor´s to get their eyes examined. Make a student stand on the mark, close one eye and read the letters, which you point at.
Note, that the letters are ordered according to the vowel sound they contain. If you leave the poster on the wall while spelling, it might help them remember the pronunciation.
