Big Cat Holidays
I use Big Cat Holidays to assess reading after teaching a non fiction unit. Big Cat Holidays assesses students´ understanding of the use of language, including grammatical and literary features at word and sentence level. Alternatively, the webpage could be used as a teaching tool and the assessment activities could be used to teach features of non fiction writing / reading. The webpage is page 12 but unfortunately it doesn´t come up in the preview. Answers / mark scheme incl.
