Catcher in the Rye Goes Hollywood!
After reading Catcher in the Rye, I give this group assignment to my English 11 students. The challenge is to create a 2-3 minute movie trailer for Catcher with a written script and movie poster. Students must cast their film and then act out their skit for the class. I´ve even included a page for students to take notes on each skit and then vote for the one they liked best. The group that wins gets a prize. Students loved this activity, and their posters gave me great work samples to put on the wall. Enjoy!
