The Vietnam war through songs
Here is what I did last year as an end of year activity. I wanted to work on the Vietnam War but through songs. I spent quite some time to find the right songs. I even managed to find a pro-war song. What I wanted my PS to understand was the way American artists rebelled against their elders.
I have reworked those songs in order to provide you with youtube links (when available). I didnīt have the time to indicate what grammar points I studied. Finally, for the French teachers out there, you may want to work on Johnny Hallidayīs version of Fortunate Son which is called Fils de Personne and thus do some translation work. I hope you will enjoy this collection of songs as much as I did.
