In this formal task, students are asked to choose, prepare and present a ballad to their peers. Task description: Your presentation must entertain the audience, and reflect your understanding of the nature of ballads and the story being portrayed. You must engage the listener’s interest and attention, and show that you understand the true message of the ballad. You must create a mood through vocal tones, representation of the characters, and poetic devices. Task sheet includes marking criteria sheet.
