You´ve got a friend in me
An interesting conversation/song class. Students will love do that.
You’ve got a friend in me - Randy Newman
1. Start the class asking the students about the toys they have when they were children. Elicit them to talk about it.
• Do you remember about your toys when you were a child?
• Who did you use to play with?
• What was your favorite toy? Why?
2. Pass the trailer of the movie Toy Story ( Toy Story 3 - "Meet Ken" film clip ). After that ask about the toys that appeared on the movie and continuous the conversation about the dreamed toys they didn’t have.

3. Explain to the students Toy Story is a film about friendship. Give them the storyline read together or each student reds some lines. If they have some doubts you can explain the meaning of the words.
4. Ask the students if they know the expression ( BFF ). Explain them that expression means ( Best Friend Forever )and If you have time open the (www.urbandictionary) and show them how you can use it in a context.
5. Ask about their best friend. Ask extra questions about him/her. Encourage them to talk.
6. Hand in the paper to them and explain the song activity. Explain that’s an easy activity and they have to choose one of the options in a parentheses. Pass once the video and do not repeat ( You´ve Got A Friend In Me - Randy Newman )

7. Pass the video again, correct the activity and explain some sentences or expressions on the song. Let them understand the message on the song about friendship.
8. If you have time ask more about the trustworthy friends they have. And ask them how can they honor their friends.
