Teacher’s Guide – We are Family ( SISTER SLEDGE )
1. Start the class explaining the students that the topic of the class is family. Ask some questions to them.
• How many siblings do you have? * What’s your father’s name?
• Are you an only child? * How old is your mother?
• Do you like your family? * Would you like to be an only child?
2. Pass the video on you tube. Follow the link below.

3. Ask some questions about the video. After they answer them, pass the video again and correct the activity.
• How many women are there in the group? ( 4 sisters )
• Where did they record the clip? ( in New York )
• When did they record their most famous LP ? ( 70’s or 1973-1985)
• What was the little girl wearing? She appeared dancing on the clip on right side. ( a White blouse, a Black Dress and Black shoes )
• Who was the super hero who also danced on the clip? ( Spider man )
OBS: You can correct the activity and remember about the prepositions ( in, on ) and how to say YEARS in English. ( 19 / 97 )
4. Hand the activity in to the students and do the activity.
5. Pass again and correct it.
6. If you have time sing with them.
