Odyssey Travel Brochure Assignment
Once my English 9 students have read at least half of Homer´s Odyssey, I give them the assignment of creating a travel brochure advertising three locations Odysseus visited on his journey home to Ithaca. Instructions/requirements are one the front. The back has a map with all of the labeled stops of Odysseus´ journey, as well as room for students to brainstorm. It is often helpful to make your own colorful brochure to show students as a model. Enjoy!
