The Human Touch #3
This worksheet accompanies the other 2 on the sense of "Touch" and involves an activity. In the activity, I use a box with a hole cut in it and covered enough so the students cannot see in. Then I go out of the room and place an object in the box. The students then get maybe 10 seconds to use one hand to feel inside the box and check the boxes describing what the object feels like. The last column, "It feels like..." is for guessing what the object is. I went to a grocery store here in China and bought things like dried fish, seaweed, soap..etc for objects. Bring some paper towels if you decide to use any wet or slimy objects in the box.
