Murder on a Sunday Morning - Part III
(Part 3 of 3) Murder on a Sunday Morning is an Academy Award-winning documentary about the Brenton Butler case. Brenton Butler, a 15-year old black boy, is accused of having killed a white tourist in Florida. He is identified by the victimīs husband and signs a confession. However, there is no concrete evidence and it seems that he was threatened by the police to sign the confession. Is he innocent or will he be sent to prison for the rest of his life?
Since the DVD has no subtitles, I thought it was best to break down the movie in small parts to make sure that everyone can follow and discuss the events.
Itīs a great documentary since the viewer is in the same position as the jury in the courtroom - you donīt know how it all ends until the verdict.
