Future Predictions - The Fortune Teller Wksht #3
3 of 3 Worksheets based on using "Prediction" language...I used these worksheets in an IELTS class to break-up the monotony and have some fun...Lifted it out of my "Wild Billy´s Circus" PowerPoint. This worksheet is a straight forwards exercise where the students construct an origami fortune teller...Instead of colors, I have the students use favorite things...Instead of numbers, I had them use topic headings ( I also used 8 least favorite things here)...and on the inside, I had them use the 8 sentences of prediction language from Worksheet #1...Then they partnered up, (or I eeny-meeny-miney-moed them), and had one student cast their future lot against another´s fortune teller...The Chinese students were consistently and noticeably nervous about this exercise...Did my damnedest to assuage their fears....Thanks to OCAL at clker.com for the corner deco clipart...And many thanks for the origami clipart..But I have forgotten where I located it.
