Pres. Obama on the Debt Crisis
Here is a listening exercise based on President Obama’s recent speech about the debt crisis, which can be found at http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2011/07/25/president-obama-deficit-reduction-requires-tackling-entitlements-and-tax-reform
If you want to change any of the blanks, copy and paste the number with the parentheses, and Word will automatically calculate the number for you. Cool, huh?
You may want to change the font (I used Garamond because it is smaller than Times and I can get the whole speech onto 2 pages and the exercise onto 1), but this will probably throw off the end of the lines. I inserted manual line breaks in front of some of the parentheses so that the blanks and the numbers were not separated on 2 different lines.
