This is part 1 of my lesson ´Great failures, great personalities´. These are the introduction pictures. Show your students one picture after the other and let them guess who invented it. After they guessed it right, try to find out what they know about the person. Then read the small paragraph (Worksheet 2) for each person and discuss ... after reading through the complete worksheet and discussing how famous people failed in the beginning and later were very successful, there is a crossword that asks for the words in the small texts (two vocabularies are taken from each small text). Enjoy!
