I´m working with the book "English adventure Starter A" in a kinder I level. They are 5 and 6 years old. After finishing a unit, I always prepare these kind of cards for them to play as a memory game in pairs; during the warm up with the aim of revising the vocabulary we have learnt.
They will sit in front of their partners with 2 sets of cards with a backcover of different colours. They´ll turn around the cards taking turns. The one who finds a pair can continue playing until he loses. The one who gets more pairs is the winner. They are asked to say the name of each cards after turning it around. I hope you are teaching these vocabulary and find it useful. :)
