Job Role Play Lesson Plan
You are going to college this Fall.
You do not know what to study.
You also do not know what to do.
You are going to attend a meeting where people with all kinds of jobs are.
You are going to talk to each of them and decide whether or not you want to do their job in the future.
1 The idea is for people to go from table to table to talk to people about what they do in their jobs and then decide what they want to do finally.
2 Prepare some role play cards. Each role play card with the job information on it. People with jobs put the picture face down on the table. It is better if you do not look at the card
3 Ask them to pick a job. Then read the job description. If there are any words you do not understand, please ask.
4 Switch roles
5 Interviewers must come up with a job they would like to do in the future.
6 At the end, it can be a business social event. Ask them to exchange the business cards. Give them time to write the information down.
