Phonic flash cards and posters: 5 pages
I have slowly been decorating my new classroom and would like to share these resources with you. As before if they prove reasonably popular then I will make more.
The anchors (top sheet) can be used as flash cards and/or mini posters. I am going to cut them out and stick them on the wall above the phonic posters. David, how do you spell green? /g/, /r/, /ee/tree, /n/. And the child can confirm his knowledge by checking the anchor poster on the wall.
Usually I print out the vocabulary posters B5 size and position them on the wall in such a way that students have to get out of their chairs to check a spelling, this prevents copying. I first made posters like these in 1986, by cutting out pictures from books and magazines, to help teach my children to read. I do hope you find them useful.
