Sports-Simple present and adverb game cards-set 1of 5 badminton
Itīs a card game that I made for Japanese junior high kids.
Stick the cards to the back, laminate and use with the other sets that are uploaded to make one complete set for 4 to 6 players.
This is how I did it, you may want to do it differently of course.
1) Players sit in a circle and go around in order.
2) They can ask any player in the group "Do you .....?"
3) If player has the card they answer either "Yes I do" (card without the red X or "No I donīt" (card with red X), then proceed to give that player the card ("Here you go") or "I donīt have that card"
4) They will put out the pairs as they get them. Most pairs wins.
This worked well in that they can do it only using English but also because they can ask anybody in the group, they really concentrate on remembering who has what cards so they can target their next question in order to gain any cards they need so are also really listening carefully to the other students questions and answers.
Itīs actually quite simple despite my long explanation.
