Students should work in pairs and take it in turns to choose a card. They must construct a sentence starting with I want to and ending with the hint given on the card. The partner should check the English (please write the correct answers on the back if necessary) and if the student gets the English correct, they may keep the card, and the corresponding number of points. If the student makes a mistake they must put the card back on the table where it is up for grabs again. The student with the most points at the end is the winner. These cards are fully adaptable to any grammar point. I have used them with various grammatical points and they are very popular with my students! I teach in Japan so the characters on the cards may be be more popular in with Japanese students.
