The guardian
Ben Randall (Kevin Costner) is a legendary rescue swimmer who becomes the sole survivor of an accident caused by a lack storm. He is taken to teach at elite schools, a training program that aims to transform young recruits fearless in the best rescue swimmers. Still shaken by the failure in the accident, Randall decided to leave aside the training program and apply their own working methods. He soon quarreled with Jake Fischer (Ashton Kutcher), a cocky swimming champion, who is in his class. Randall Fisher sees potential to become a rescue swimmer, if you can not even balance his talent-cut with the emotional side and dedication to the task demands. In his 1st rescue mission in the turbulent waters of the Bering Sea, Alaska, Fisher learns what is really risking everything at work.
