Reversi: so and such, too and not enough
Reversi or Othello board game practicing so & such and too & not enough. The 64 chips are double-sided, one side is blue, the other side is white. The white side is reverse to the blue one. You can either print always two pages, each one on each side of a hard sheet of paper or you can print them separately and then glue always two pages, each one on each side of a cardboard. Then you need to cut the chips out (which is a bit of work). The first half of the chips have a certain sentence using "so" on one side, e.g. "The story was so stupid.", and an equivalent sentence, this time using "such", on the other side, e.g.: "It was such a stupid story." The second half of them have a sententence using "too" on one side, e.g.: "The house was too small to live in comfortably.", and an equivalent sentence using "not enough" on the other side, e.g. "The house wasn´t big enough to live in comfortably." Students play reversi with the chips and whenever they´re gonna turn over one, they have to say what´s on the other side, before they turn it. If they get the sentence right, they can leave the chip turned, if not, they have to turn it back, facing up with the original side. Enjoy!
