Animal Game Great for Teaching Chinese Students
This week, we are going to talk about animals. ~~~~~~~~~~~
First of all, put the animal cards on page 2 on the table. Everyone should get up and pick up a card from the table. If you are a horse, pick up the horse card; If you are a rabbit, pick up the horse card. This is Chinese zodiac sign. Every Chinese student should know what animal they are.

Second, put students into groups of three. You are going to talk to your partner about the looks and characteristics of the animal you are. Maybe they can start by saying: I am a tiger. Tigers are strong, but I am not. Tigers are courageous. I think I am courageous. (if they have no idea, you can have them look at what is on page 3)

Third, give the dialog to the students. First, students go through the dialog with a partner. Then, students will talk to other people following the dialog but change the sentences in blue.
