Halloween - Urban Legend - Humans can lick, too - Mini Book
This is a set of six urban legends. Suggested procedures: Divide the class into 6 groups. Each group receives one urban legend and reads the text. In their groups, the students discuss whether they have heard a similar story and try to define what urban legends are. After discussing the definition of urban legends, the teacher divides the students into groups of 6 - one student from each previous group. In their new groups, the students they tell their friends the stories they had just read and choose the most instructive, the most entertaining and the scariest one. Students should then try to create a similar story to be shared with the students from the other groups.
