Hip Hop Matching
This worksheet is meant to be played as a game where groups of students race to match the correct slang term based upon the context of the sentence. Sentences are written in loose Ebonic English, so it should be difficult for students to determine exactly the meaning. Thus good explanations beforehand, the simple definitions provided, and the fun of guessing based upon context should allow the students to play this enjoyable game. Difficult, but fun.
