The Kingdom of Witches
This worksheet is a transcript of the poem in the Halloween video ´The Kingdom of Witches´ (http://youtu.be/T06OToVOsbk)
The video is beautiful and is based on the art of Jan Pienkowski.
The animator, Nocturnaloner, wrote the poem themselves.
I am using this as decoding practice for my 5th grade students. They will try to read the poem and then, after watching the video, try to guess what some of the words mean. In addition, they will have to note down the rhyming pairs from the poem and provide an interpretation of their thoughts and feelings from watching the video.
