Desert Island worksheet

This is pretty straight forward. I put the kids/adults in groups of 2 (but larger groups are okay as well). Then I tell them that they were on a boat with their other group members when they they found out the boat was sinking. They can see an island within smimming distance. They have only a few minutes before the boat will sink. Between the group they must choose 5 of the 18 items that they feel will help them the most on the island until they are rescued. I give them time to discuss and then each group must stand and give their choices as well as the reasons why they chose the item. Of course the toilet paper always is good for a laugh.
