Imagine (Song by the Beatles) activity
This is an activity thought to be done after listening the song Imagine by the Beatles.In each verse students do a different activity.In the first one they have to pay attention to the song and order the sentences;in the second verse students have to fill the blanks with some words in a box;in tyhe third verse students have to write in order the words from each sentence,ans so on...
The there is a traffic light activity:
students think of the vocabulary presented: if they knew the vocabulary they write the word in the green column,if they could be able to guess the meaning by context they write the word in the orange column,and if they had no idea about the meaning they write the word in the red column .(This can be done beforer cheking the activities,up to you)Each student can do the activity in a concrete verse.
this is a collaborative activity,the idea is students share with others the vocabulary they know and maybe some peers donīt and the other way around.
Finally students write a short text about their ideal world using the structure presented (there is/there are)
