From seed to dinner
How do we get our food? Explore how seeds grow into plants and are transported from the farm, to the store, and right to your table.
Directions: Teach students about a certain fruit or vegetable and how it grows. Have students choose a food that can be made from that plant and draw it in the middle of the diamond. Complete the rest of the worksheet. After completing this worksheet punch holes in each corner and tie into a quilt (groups of 6-9 work well). Have students share their part of the quilt.
