Great Game for Elementary Review
This simple game is surprisingly effective for reviewing. Divide the class into groups of about five, assign letters to the groups and write them on the board. After the teacher randomly calls out a number, one student from each team races to the board to write the answer. The person who writes it correctly first is, of course, the winner. The teams can yell out the answer to the player, so everyone gets a lot of practice throughout the game. I couldnīt believe how much they got into it.
