Animal mix cards
Here is a simple set of animal cards that I created to play with my primary school students... It is very easy to modify if you want, and extremely flexible in its way of use.
What I do mostly is to use it as a MEMORY GAME to REVIEW ANIMALS, especially the pronunciation of their names which can be tricky when you are teaching English as a Foreign Language to very young students.
I print two pages to form a set, cut the cards, and hand a set to students in pairs or groups of three to play the game. All cards are placed image down. They take turns to turn around the cards, saying the name of the animal aloud as they do, and trying to find the matching picture.
Itīs simple, but they have lots of fun playing with it! I hope your students enjoy it as well!
