Making Suggestions Boardgame (Why don´t we..? Lets.. Would you like...? How about ...?)
Students can play in pairs or in groups of three. They have to use the prompts to make suggestions. The partner or the person on their right has to accept the suggestion or to decline it according to a smiley. For making suggestions students have to use the following expressions; ‘Why don’t we …?’, ‘How about + noun or + Ving’, ‘Would you like to …’, ‘Let’s ….’ For accepting and declining the invitation there are some prompts on the board. You can also give each student a table with phrases for suggesting something and they can cross out the phrases they have used. Using this table makes sense in case students are inclined to use just one and the same phrase for making suggestions. I hope you´ll find it useful. Have a nice week! A big thanks to PhilipR for his wonderful template.
