WALL-E worksheet (film)
This worksheet can be used as an end-of-year activity for YLE Movers L1 students. I use it together with the Pixar movie WALL-E, which is ideal for children because the first 40 minutes are mute. Pupils will review modals, comparatives, descriptions and vocabulary related to the environment. While watching the film, elicit as much vocabulary as you can from the children. After watching the first part of the film, children complete activities 1 through 6. The worksheet is meant to work both as a grammar review worksheet and a conversation guide. Watch the second part of the film and work with the children on the rest of the worksheet. They can draw what they imagine to be our planetīs future. You may hang their posters around the class.
