Important Dates 2012
Many of my students never use ordinal numbers, they say 24 January instead of the 24th of January. This simple but effective worksheet practices this in a fun way. Students are given a list of important dates in 2012. You could either use this as a WebQuest activity where student must find the information online or give each student one of the important dates and do it as an information share class mingle activity. It is quite UK specific but the teacher can tailor it for any country´s important dates. I usually follow this activity up with arranging an appointment role-plays. Have fun!
