ESSAY MARKING SYSTEM
The following worksheet is a guide for helping the teachers correct essays. The method consists of underlining the error and pointing the kind of mistake the student has made underneath. After,he/she can rewrite the sentence in a second version of his/her composition. This sheet contains a chart of common grammar mistakes, where the first column shows the way the mistake is called and a brief description of the item. Some of the mistakes can be further described as they are in the second column. The third column shows an example. This is a very useful way of correcting essays although it is hard work for the teacher -you have to check two versions of the same essay. However, it can improve your students´ writing a lot.
