Iīm using this ws for reporting a local important event in the simple past ( first with "be" which we are studying right now, couldnīt be better!!!) but can be adpated to any sports event. Ws 1 provides pupils with prompts ( spidergram) to help them talk about the event ( vocabulary, ...) ws2 = sentences expected. Iīm sure the production will be improved thanks to the enthusiasm of my pupils . ( will probably introduce the past with regular and irregular verbs) . That sort of lesson canīt be more authentic!
