What Sarah Does; A Verb Exercise
Fully editable, loose, story board/seasonal(spring, summer winter) format that does three things. 1st it helps ss concentrate on how the verbs and the more challenging verb clauses/modals are used. 2nd, ss are asked to think about the underlined challenge words and determine their meanings. 3rd, this ws can be used to generate creative writing responses, by telling ss to pick 2 or more pics and write about them. 1st pg. corresponds to the spring season. 2nd pg. corresponds to the summer season. 3rd page corresponds to the winter season. All pics give ss a chance to use their imagination and combine it with their inherant reasoning skills to synthesize the concepts of grammar in a playful way. Grade 3 reading level, although 11 challenge words are underlined to expand vocabulary, and they can look these up in a dictionary. Answer Key Incl.
