I use these flashcards to play games with my students. Game #1: I hide the flashcards around the class and students have to find the color and shape I ask for. Game #2: I hide the flashcards around the class and when they find one, they come to me and say: ´´I found a blue circle´´. Game #3: I place all the flashcards in the middle of the room on the floor and the first student to bring me the card I asked for gets a point. Game #4: I place all the flashcards on the board. I make two teams. Students come in pair at the front of the class and I give them a fly swatter. I call a card and the first student to hit the card with the fly swatter gets a point for his or her team. Game #5: Writing activity. They have to write a short text to describe what they see on the board. For example: I see a blue circle. There is an orange rectangle. etc ...
