This is a short project I designed for my 13-year-old students but it can be adapted to older students. They have to find out about a landmark in the UK and write about its story and origin. They also have to find out useful touristic information such as opening hours, ticket price, etc Then the students have to report their findings to the class by doing a Power Point presentation or a poster. The same could be done with sites in the USA.
