Cops and Robbers Game worksheet

Rules of the game • Teacher has to ask questions to students If students manage to answer correctly they must turn over a card. The cards are all placed either in a pile with the teacher or face down on a table so that the students are unable to see the face cards. • If money is turned over students bank that money for their team. • If fire is turned over this burn’s out all of the money that team has gained. • If a thief is turned over the team who turns this over steels the money from another team. • If a police officer is turned over, the team who turns this over are able to keep it and use it if a thief is turned from another team. (Similar to a get out of jail card in monopoly) obviously if the team don’t have a police officer then their money is stolen. • If a bank cheque or cashiers cheque is turned over then the students have 3 seconds to name as many numbers as possible but cant repeat the same number after each other. The teacher write this down and it’s turned into money.
