Valentine´s Day flaschcards: Pet names / terms of endearment for lovers
These are flashcards to teach students different terms of endearment (What do they mean? + Are they for a girl, boy, or both?). Perfect for a Valentine´s Day lesson! ;-)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Print hearts on colourful paper (red, pink, purple, …) and if possible laminate.
2. Write “Pet names for lovers” on board.
3. Each students draws one heart and writes the name on the heart on the board.
4. Discussion in class about words: “What does it mean?” and “Is it a name for a boy or a girl?” – if it is a pet name for a boy, you circle the name with a blue heart, if it is a girl’s name you circle the name with a red heart, if it can be both, you make the heart half-red, half-blue.
5. HAVE FUN!! :-)
