Flight of the Conchords
This is a gap-fill worksheet to accompany the Flight of the Conchords episode, Mugged, which is the 3rd episode of the first series. Most of the questions check comprehension, with a little bit of vocabulary thrown in. You can, of course, check further vocabulary with your students. I chose this series, and this episode in particular, as it highlights the difference in accents between American and New Zealand English speakers, and also shows some of the attitudes that accompany the accents.
The show contains a small amount of swearing, which is not mentioned on the worksheet, but just be warned in case you are uncomfortable dealing with this kind of language in the classroom.
