Give each pair $1000 to begin their bet. As you read out each sentence, each pair will bet a certain sum of their money if they feel that your sentence is correct. If they are right, their winnings will be doubled. Similarly, if they are wrong, their losses will be doubled too. Feel free to change the rules according to the interest levels of the students.
