Friend Bingo (Find Someone Who....)
This game has worked well in my classroom for my introduction lesson. It got the students up, out of their seats and speaking English--even the lower level students. Depending on the level, it will take more or less time. On average it takes me around 15-20 mins. This game could also work for teaching likes and dislikes or "do/does" questions.
I walked them through the questions first, to check for understanding. They said the questions all together, then the translation (2-4 mins) Then, they fill in the bingo chart with the questions (5-7 mins). Finally, we went through the rest of the instructions and rules (1-2 mins). They are all on the worksheet. The game itself lasts around 5-10 mins. Just mingle and remind them to speak English.
The worksheet is pretty self explanatory. Hope you can use it! Enjoy!
