In this task the Ss first, as a pre-speaking task, listen to a part of the song about an unhappy man singing about the reasons for his unhappiness and depression (the song is called ´Solitude´ of the band Warhorse from the album ´Warhorse´). Next the Ss are to prepare in pairs a dialogue between a patient and a psychologist. The are given the roles and instructions about what they should include in their conversation. Then they may present their dialogues to the rest of the classroom. Additional activities concerning the topic of depression and unhappiness you may find in the book ´Taboos and issues´ by Richard MacAndrew and Ron Martinez.
