Jumbled story about the inventor, group- and pair-work task, subject/object questions in Past Simple, comprehension questions + lesson plan!!!
This activity uses the story about the inventor as a context for the use of Past Simple. It also includes: asking subject/object questions in pairs, ordering the jumbled paragraphs of the story in groups, reading aloud the story and answering comprehensive questions while listening to the other students reading. Lesson plan with the description of the forementioned activities included.
