Reported Speech Coversation - Question Cards
This is an activity developed for students who are studying for the First Certificate (FCE). These cards are meant to be cut up and split up between a few students in each group. They must be careful to put the direct speech to reported speech, focusing on the little words such as ¨now¨ to ¨then¨, etc.
After the reported speech has been put into direct speech, and the speaker´s partners have verified that it is correct, they can either choose another card or continue the conversation depending on the card.
My students both teenagers and adults enjoyed this activity it takes about 20 minutes, more if they decide to continue the conversation on the cards by asking for other details about the information.
