Parts of the House and Elements we can find there
This worksheets consists of two parts:
1- Students complete the parts of the house.
2- Students write the different elements they can find in a house using "THERE IS / THERE ARE".
I always teach this using "Realia", I take some elements from my house (a toothbrush, a rolling pin, etc) and play a game "Where am I?", so according to the element they see they name the part of the house, they have to say "You´re in the ....". I also invite Students to come to the front, I put different elements in a box/bag, Students take an element at random and make an action, the rest guess. Once we do this, I teach them the names of the elements using "There is / There are" (make sure you take more than one element, e.g two towels, three woodspoons, etc. to teach "There are").
It´s a very funny activity and Students learn extra vocabulary. Hope you like it!!!
