Animals in ZOO: Make your own ZOO!
The first paper contains various animals that you can find in the zoo. You should print this paper as many times as you need(depending on the number of children in your class). Cut the animals and don´t give them to children. Only you will have the animals in the begining. The second paper contains the picture of the zoo. Print this paper for each child in the class. Children will come to you one by one asking for animals they want to have in their zoo (e.g. 3 elephants please, 2 zebras please). You will give them the animals they are asking for. The can practise animals, numbers but also phrases PLEASE and THANK YOU. Then they will stick the animals in their ZOO and they can also colour them.
Older children can also after this activity describe their Zoo to the other children (I have 3 grey elephants., I have 2 orange tigers...).
